Policies and Procedures

Yearly Fees :(all fees are non-refundable)

Registration Fee (All Students):  Registration is completed online, and must have some form of automatic payment associated with your account in order to complete the registration process. 

The registration fee is a non-refundable fee of $40.00 (Pre-registration is $35.00, and a free studio t-shirt) and is required yearly at time of registration.   This fee confirms your spot in class.

Banquet/Mini Meet Fee (All Gymnasts & Parkour): is due in November or one month after registration for all gymnastics program ONLY students. This is a non-refundable fee of $30 which covers the cost associated with all gym yearly awards and production fees associated with hosting a mini meet and banquet.  This is a mandatory fee for all students regardless of participation in the event.  We host a yearly fundraiser, to offset this cost, for those who wish to participate.  (through out the year all students will have the opportunity to earn awards and special recognitions, and we will not tell a student that they cannot be in "Climb the Rope Club" or earn an "I can do a Handstand Award" because this fee was optional, therefore it is mandatory for all students.)

Costume Fee (All Dancers): is due November 15th for the first dance class a student in, and for every additional dance class, one costume will be billed on the 15th of the month following, until all costumes are paid.   We host a yearly fundraiser, to offset this cost, for those who wish to participate.  See below for Costume Fee per Dance Class.

Spring Production Fee (All Dancers): is due in March, and covers all the costs associated with hosting a Spring Show.  For Example, Auditorium Fee, Tech Fee, Sound Fee, Lighting Fee, Stage Crew Fee, Security, Ticket Takers, House Manager, Props, Music purchase and editing, Recital T-shirt, Banquet and Awards Fee, etc...  We host a yearly fundraiser, to offset this cost, for those who wish to participate.


Tuition

Tuition payment is collected automatically via bank draft, debit card or credit card and will be posted and charged on the 1st of the month (from September to June for Dance, September to May for Cheer and Gymnastics). If your payment is declined there is an automatic $10.00 late payment/service fee.  All fees paid are non refundable (tuition, registration fee, costume fee, production fee and banquet fee). Tuition is only prorated if the student enters the class after the month has begun.

Cash and Check (made payable to GO! Dance & Gymnastics Studios) are accepted, but must be paid before the 1st of the month in order for your automatic tuition payment to not be processed and or an automatic $10.00 late payment/service fee applied. All returned checks have a $30 returned check fee.

Full tuition is due for our performance months of December and June, when we may not have a class meeting every week. Payment is due regardless if the student is in class or not.  The month of June only cash or credit cards are  accepted for items other than autopay tuition.

Competition, costume and registration fees are not included in regular monthly payments. These payments will be posted and processed when they are due,  if they are not paid in advance.  If you withdraw after these payments are posted, they ARE NOT refundable.

Students may not participate in studio activities or event if their account is not current or if they withdraw before the event.

Communications

GO! Dance & Gymnastics Studios communicates studio information to families through e-mail, webpage, facebook posts and/or US mail. It is your responsibility to keep e-mail/US mail addresses and phone numbers current via the customer portal or with the office staff. It is also the parent’s responsibility to check the bulletin board for yearly schedule of events or any announcements you may have missed. 

There will be no communications acknowledged via personal text, e-mail, cell phones or social media accounts, between studio employees and student/parents.  The studio does NOT communicate, on an individual basis, through any Social Media account.

Social Media

GO! Dance & Gymnastics Studios has a Facebook page and Instagram account.  The studio will post copies of important Constant Contact e-mails, Studio Events, and Pictures/videos of students in class or outside functions.  It is highly recommended that parents follow the studio page for updates.  The studio does NOT communicate, on an individual basis, through any Social Media account.

It is studio policy that NO employees' personal Social Media accounts are allowed to be associated with any actively enrolled student or parent accounts.  

All contact with the studio, and staff, will take place during business hours, at the studio, via phone or studio e-mail accounts.  There will be no communications acknowledged via personal text, e-mail, cell phones or social media accounts (ie. facebook messenger), between studio employees and student/parents.

PARKING POLICY

GO! Dance & Gymnastics Studios has a drive through/drop off lane on the left side of the building. You can pull up and drop your child off at the door then make the loop around the back of the building to either park or exit.

Parking at the front windows is now reserved for drop off/pick up ONLY.
PLEASE limit your time in the front to under 5 minutes.
If you are planning on staying for class please park in the back or along the right side of the building. DO NOT block the drive around lane.
 

Withdrawals and Refunds
There is a two-month minimum for all lessons (you must give the student an ample amount of time to learn before letting them give up). One month notice from the fifteenth of the month is required to discontinue any classes (this is how long it takes ACH to remove your billing information from the database. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone. Withdrawal must be done at the studio office and not with the dance teacher, but the officer manager. Withdrawal must occur within the first 7 days of the month. No withdrawals will be accepted after April 1, if you withdraw after this date you are responsible for May and/or June's tuition. We have a waiting list for most classes and this helps line up the next student when a place opens. To withdrawal from a class a parent or adult student must:
1. Inform school administration in person, and
2. Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the school office.
Students may not participate in studio activities or event if their account is not current or if they withdraw before the event.
No refunds will be given for costumes/uniform fee, production fee, competition entry fee, banquet fee, mini meet fees etc.  
Refunds for Merchandise purchased at the studio must take place within 15 days of purchase and all items must be unworn, in original packaging with tags still attached.

GO! Dance & Gymnastics Studios has the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. 

Attendance and Lateness

The school reserves the right to have students who come late to class, sit out the class. Repeated lateness may result in termination of lessons. A minimum attendance standard will be required. If a student misses more that 4 classes without written notices, the school reserves the right to terminate lessons. Students missing more that 4 classes after January will not be allowed to participate in the year-end dance recital.

When children are missing it is hard for the other children to understand what they are supposed to execute, especially if they do not have a partner. 

School Closings/Extreme Weather

The school will be closed Labor Day, Halloween, week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and EISD Spring Break, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Memorial Day. All classes that are cancelled for a one day holiday will be rescheduled. When all classes are cancelled for the week there will be no make-ups.   In the event of extreme weather conditions GO! Dance and Gymnastics Studios follows the EISD School Closing Policy. If EISD closes down due to weather we will be closed due to weather and no make-ups will be offered. Schedule of Events calendars are available at the front desk and online.

Conduct (Parents & Students)

Parents and students must conduct themselves in a respectable manner at all GO! Dance & Gymnastics Events. This means supporting all GO! Dance & Gymnastics Teams, individuals and philosophies in a positive manner. If a problem should arise please direct it to the Office Manager or Owner directly.


Pictures

We will have professional class costume pictures taken for Christmas and the End of the Year show. This is optional.


Dress Code

Required dance & gymnastics wear and shoes must be worn to all classes, these are to be purchased before the 2nd week of classes. Failure to wear required dance wear to class can result in students being asked to sit out of class. See class dress code for your specific class.  Required Dance Wear


Veteran Awards

In order to qualify for an End of the Year Award, you must complete a full year. (Sept. to June)


Care of Students

The school is not responsible for providing before and after class care for students.   Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time periods before or after their classes.    Late pick-up fee of $5.00 per 15 minutes late.
